About Stormberry

It started at a kitchen table, with a kid and a piece of paper.

My daughter kept drawing the same thing over and over: a little grid, an X, a plus, a check mark. A homemade trade board so she and her friends could swap their squishies the "official" way. She drew it on notebook paper. She drew it on napkins. She drew it in the car.

One day I watched her carefully redraw it for the hundredth time after the last one got crumpled in a backpack, and something just clicked. Why doesn't a real one exist?

So we made one. And we haven't stopped since.

That's Stormberry. We're a mom and her kids, designing the things we wish we could find, and making the things we'd actually want ourselves. Trade mats. Shirts with jokes only our kind of people get. Cute, witty, a little bit weird, always made with heart. My daughter dreams up the soft and pretty ones. My son goes bold. I turn their ideas into real things you can hold, wear, and trade.

We're not a faceless brand or a warehouse somewhere. We're a real family, at a real table, turning "wouldn't it be cool if" into something we're proud to put our name on.

When you shop with us, you're not buying from a machine. You're getting something a real family poured love into, something a kid dreamed up and got to watch come to life. And every order, we still feel that same little spark we felt the day we made that very first mat.

As for the name? We didn't overthink it. Stormberry is named after our two cats, Storm and Berry (AKA Barry), the original troublemakers of the family. Look closely at our little berry mascot and you'll spot the lightning bolt. That's all them.
